WHY OUR CANDIDA PROGRAM WORKS

Hello;

We can be of help to you. To be of assistance it is necessary that you forward your medical history and your questions regarding symptoms or conditions for which you would like to have nutritional guidance. I shall explain our program and the procedures which we follow for you. Please write all your questions, and we can go over them as well when we speak. Call me at your convenience at 212-587-2330, and I shall be happy to help you. In the meantime, please read the following information. I look forward to speaking with you.

My name is Danielle DeSimone and, I am the office manager at the Biamonte Center, Thank you for your interest in our Center. We assist, from a nutritional standpoint, with The Candida Syndrome, Parasites, toxic metals, thyroid, leaky gut and hormone imbalances. We have specialized in these problems for over 15 years. We have helped many people and understand that having these problems can change your life. When one is going through these problems they need to be in communication with not only their physician or other healthcare provider, but with a competent nutrition center as well. We are available Monday through Saturday to answer any questions or handle problems that you have once you start our program. We are also available by email.

What makes us different from other programs is that we will identify the problem as soon as possible by testing you and getting you on the right nutritional program. Our goal is to have you back to a healthy normal life. The great thing about our program is that it can be done long distance and as a matter of fact, more than 90% of our clients are assisted by phone. Many of the people whom we assist are outside the United States.

The head of our Center, Michael Biamonte, CCN, handles candida as well as many other things including toxic metals, hormone problems, constipation, thyroid problems, weight loss, Diabetes, leaky gut syndrome, etc. These problems are often found with Candida. Candida is a yeast that grows in the intestinal tract. It is normal to have small amounts of candida so the friendly and protective bacteria (acidophilus and bifidus) can use it as food.

In our experience the most common causes of candida are as follows.
1. Antibiotics
2. Birth control pills
3. Excessive stress and elevated cortisol levels
4. Tap water consumption
5. Parasites and worms
6. High estrogen
7. Toxic metals.

Our candida program consists of 4 phases.

Phase 0;
this phase cleanses the bowels of bacteria and parasites. It gets the bowels moving regularly and prepares the body for phase
1. Phase 1;
This phase destroys the majority of the candida in your body. This is where the diet will begin. ( The diets can be different depending on your test results and how much of an overgrowth is there). 4 to 6 different antifungals are used in a rotation. This way the yeast does not build a resistance to them. Many do not do this and therefore their programs are not successful and can actually make you worse!.
Phase 2;
This phase eliminates the candida very deep in your intestinal tract. Most importantly, it establishes friendly bacteria in the intestines and repairs the intestines. This is the point where leaky gut that will be handled as well. Leaky gut syndrome symptoms are as follows.
1. Arthritis
2. Allergies to foods and environment
3. Sinus problems
4. Asthma
5. Skin rashes and reactions
6. Chemical sensitivities

Phase 3;
This phase restores energy and ends chronic fatigue
Phase 4;
This phase assists in strengthening and helping the immune system Testing is done periodically to be certain that you are ready to go onto the next phase. We also provide testing in between for leaky gut syndrome, hormone imbalance, toxic metals, thyroid deficiency and other factors, which can cause your body not to respond to the Candida program. Some tests are taken at certain phases of the program. A genetic test is also done to determine if you have a “genetic tendency” towards Candida. The initial appointment for nutritional evaluation is $240. The second appointment when we go over your test results is $180. Follow up appointments vary from $45 to $180 depending on what is being gone over at that appointment. Testing and supplement costs can be estimated once the nutritionist has an understanding of the individual’s health concerns. We find this out from whatever testing is being performed. The programs are individualized to fit your needs.

A very important and significant policy we have at the Biamonte center is developing a great relationship with the patient. Our staff is experienced with all aspects of the program. Once you have started our program, you are given Michael Biamonte’s direct email address. You may email him at any time free of charge during the program. You may also email our trained staff members for questioning as well. The hardest part of the program is the diet. The diet is what we really emphasize on. We have many meal plans and recipes that will help you along with the program. Most centers do not offer these free services. We encourage all our patients to take advantage of this at any time. Some of our staff members have actually done the program and can be very supportive throughout the program. If you would rather speak to our staff you can also call the office for the same service.

The program is monitored every 4 to 6 weeks. Testing is done periodically to insure that you are ready to move to the next phase and that your program is working correctly. We will also be able to determine if there any adjustments to the program that need to be made. There is also a modified program that can be done if there are financial concerns. We can space the appointments out to fit your budget. This is done to accommodate those who have financial difficulties. We try to help you plan this out before starting the program.

I am available by email or by phone (212) 587-2330 to answer any other questions you may have. Thank you for contacting us and, I hope we can help you to achieve good health through proper nutritional counseling and guidance!

Please fill out the following questionnaire and email Danielle at danielle@health-truth.com with the score. She can then better inform you of what program and approach would be best for you.

CANDIDA QUESTIONNAIRE

Click here to print and fill out the questionnaire

This candida questionnaire is designed for adults and the scoring system isn’t appropriate for children 12 and under. It lists factors in your medical history which promote the growth of Candida Albicans (Section A), and symptoms commonly found in individuals with yeast-connected illness (Sections B and C).For each “Yes” answer in Section A, circle the point score in that section. Record your total score in the box at the end of the section. Then move on to Sections B and C and score as directed.

Filling out and scoring this questionnaire should help you and your doctor evaluate the possible role of Candida in contributing to your health problems. Yet it will not provide an automatic “Yes” or “No” answer.

GRAND TOTAL SCORE

The Grand Total Score will help you and your doctor decide if your health problems are yeast-connected. Scores in women will run higher as 7 items in the questionnaire apply exclusively to women, while only 2 apply exclusively to men.
If your score is: Symptoms are:
180 (women) Almost Certainly
140 (men) Yeast Connected
120 (women) Probably
90 (men) Yeast Connected
60 (women) Possibly
40 (men) Yeast Connected
